Educational Fishing Seminar For High School Bass Fishing Tournament Participants – September, 14th in Concord

CONCORD, N.H. – With student bass fishing tournaments becoming popular among New Hampshire high schools, the New Hampshire Fish and Game Department is scheduled to present its annual “High School Bass Fishing Seminar ” on Friday, September 14^th , 2018, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at NH Fish and Game Department Headquarters in Concord.

All student athletes, coaches, and Athletic Directors participating in the fall bass fishing season are encouraged to attend.  The seminar will include presentations on bass biology, management and expected fall tournament patterns and techniques.

High school bass fishing in New Hampshire is a coordinated effort between the New Hampshire Interscholastic Athletic Association (NHIAA) and the New Hampshire Fish and Game Department, with support from NH B.A.S.S. Nation.  High school bass tournaments include a strong educational component. Teams have adult mentors who guide them through the process of learning about New Hampshire's aquatic resources and the responsibility that goes along with being anglers.
